What We Offer
Mentorship & Peer Support
- One-to-one mentorship for children and teens whose families are impacted by serious illness
- Regular check-ins and in-person meetings with a consistent, trusted adult mentor
- Guided conversations and activities that help youth process change, stress, and uncertainty
- Opportunities to build coping skills, confidence, and emotional awareness through real connection
- Optional peer group gatherings that foster belonging and shared experience
- Participation is voluntary, flexible, and never forced — youth can engage at their own pace
Basic Support Services
- ✓ Direct assistance with essential items such as groceries, school supplies, and household necessities
- ✓ Ongoing support for families impacted by illness-related financial and logistical strain
- ✓ Connection to local community resources for continued assistance beyond immediate needs
- ✓ Acts as a liaison between families and partner organizations to help navigate available support
- ✓ Reduces barriers to access by guiding families through next steps, not just referrals
- ✓ Support is provided with discretion, respect, and without judgment
